    Chandler Fritz is currently serving as a Fulbright Scholar to teach English at Eszterházy Károly University (EKU). The Centre for International Relations is pleased to host Chandler and we have already organized two interactive seminars for our English-teaching faculty members and for language teachers from various schools in Eger.

  • EKU receives an award for success in Erasmus+ KA107

    The award was given to Réka Tóth-Dolenszky institutional coordinator for the outstanding institutional implementation of international academic exchange projects under Erasmus+ KA107 programme.

    Between October 23rd and November 3rd a 4-member delegation of Eszterházy Károly University visited several Chinese institutions to strengthen and widen the already existing Chinese relationships with the university and to do some market research there.

    On May 7th, Dr. János Rainer M., professor of the Department of Modern and Contemporary History and Head of Doctoral School of History at Eszterházy Károly University was elected corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

  • Exploring the capital city and its surroudings

    During the spring semester, a large group of international students studying in Eger and in Gyöngyös Campus, participated in two study tours organized within the frameworks of the Hungarian Culture and Intercultural Awareness course.

    Caring for the relationships between partner intitutions, exchange of best practices, presentations of international life at Eszterházy Károly University. These were the most important targets of the organizers of the International Week. The university has 200 partner institutions in Eurpe, America, Asia and Africa.

  • Community nights

    This semester the Peer Helper Mental Health Hygienice Counselling Office (KoMeti) and the ESN Eszterhazy organise together a new series of programmes, called Community night aiming to strengthen the relationship between students and to improve their communication skills with some games and having fun together.
